  • Theme preference stored in your browser using local storage.
  • Messages you voluntarily send through contact, feedback, or bug-report forms.

What ComPicMe does not want to do

No unnecessary sensitive profiles

ComPicMe is not designed to build sensitive personal profiles from entertainment searches.

No sale of user search data

The product direction is to avoid selling user search data to advertisers or data brokers.

No forced account for public search

Public search should remain usable without sign-in for normal search use.

No control over outside sites

Third-party sites you open from search results have their own cookies, ads, logins, analytics, and privacy policies.

Third-party links and source websites

ComPicMe search results link to third-party websites. Those outside websites have their own privacy policies, cookies, advertising systems, account systems, and tracking rules. ComPicMe does not control those outside websites.

Cookies, local storage, and theme mode

ComPicMe may use browser storage for small preferences such as light mode or night mode. This helps keep your chosen theme consistent across ComPicMe pages.

Advertising and analytics direction

ComPicMe may use advertising or analytics in the future. The direction is to keep these privacy-conscious, explain active systems clearly, avoid selling user search data, and use approximate or aggregate signals where possible.
